My Favourite 4 Video Shots

Before we started to record our music video we were given some scenarios for what kind of video we were going to be doing. We choose to do 'a relationship has ended, where two best friends have fallen out because they were both seeing the same guy and none of them knew about it. First we put it into a storyboard to work out how we were gonna do it. Then we started to record. These are my favourite 4 shots that we did.


I choose this shot because I thought it looked very romantic and the actors in it did a good job trying to make it look as realistic as possible. I also like the choice of shot. This was a mid shot and a pan shot and it was on of the best mid shots that we did.










I choose this on because it look very realistic as well. Both of them did a good job trying to look serious by doing all the hand movements. This was a long shot and it was the most successful long shot that we did. This is where the two girls have the argument that ends their friendship.











I liked this one because the male lead did a good job looking awkward as both of his 'girlfriends' met for the first. Once i shot the 2 'girlfriends', I zoomed into his face to show how awkward he was feeling. This shot was long shot and close up. This shot was very successful.

The final shot that I'm choosing is this one because it was showing the boy texting one of his girlfriends to meet up, with her not knowing that he is with his other girlfriend/ her best friend. 

Interview Summary

Our task was to come with 10-12 question based on background personal interest and their use of media. For this task, I worked with Audrey to get to know her in an interview.

The questions that I asked were:

1. What is your favourite genre of music?
2. Why do enjoy media?
3. Is this your first or second year at college?
4. What aspect of media do you enjoy?
5. Why the idea to come to coulsdon?
6. Whats your favourite film?
7. What country do you come from?
8. Do you have any siblings?
9. What Subjects do you do?
10. When was your last holiday?

after i came up with these questions we recorded the questions and answers into the recording software called reaper. I think that the interview went well because we got through the questions without struggle and they were all pretty simple to answer.

Argos Christmas Advert 2011 - Aliens

This is a good advert because its getting you into the christmas spirit before its too late. The use of aliens suggest that the Argos service is out of this world, hence the aliens. Argos are known for their it great stock of item and the service that they give to eat of their customers.

Lucozade Energy - New TV Ad 2014!

This advert is a good advert because it makes you laugh. it also indicates the amount of activities you can enjoy with the energy that it gives you after drinking it. Also its a good advert because it shows you how much energy it gives you. Also its a bit educational too because it shows you what the drink amounts to in an experiment.
